Our People

The management of Conifer Securities has well over 100 years experience in the investment management discipline. Within the BVI, the management of Conifer has over 15 years experience specifically in fund administration.

Peter O'Connell, Managing Director

Peter is a British Chartered Accountant who has worked in the funds business in the BVI and in the Cayman Islands. As Managing Director, Peter focuses on transitioning new clients into the firm and assists in the formation and organization of new funds.

Marc Grannum, Operations Director

Marc is a member of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants in England and hails from Trinidad. He has been working within the Hedge fund industry in the BVI for ten years. As Operations Director, Marc ensures that all clients receive their agreed information within the agreed timelines.

Steve Bispham, Compliance Director

Steve is also a Chartered Accountant and has been working within funds for many years. Originally from Barbados, Steve has worked in the Cayman Islands and the BVI, including time with one of the world's largest administrators.

David Bateman, Associate Director

Before joining the firm, David has worked seven years in the offshore financial services industry primarily in Fund Administration. He previously held the position of Fund Administration Manager at UBS Fund Services (Ireland) Ltd. Before relocating to Ireland, he was a Fund Administrator for UBS Fund Services (Cayman) Ltd. Prior to working at UBS he held the position of Senior Accountant at Bank of America (Cayman) Ltd. Other roles held include Auditor at Deloitte & Touche (Cayman) and Lecturer at ECU (Australia).

Donna-Maria de Roché, Account Manager

Donna is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and comes to us as an Account Manager from Fortis Prime Fund Solutions (BVI) Limited. During her five year tenure within the ever developing offshore industry, she has acquired a wealth of experience in administering funds with varying legal structures and investment strategies. Prior to working into the funds industry, Donna spent nine years at the PricewaterhouseCoopers office in Trinidad where she was an Audit and Business Advisory Manager and was responsible for audit clients within the banking and finance sector.
